Dorothy Ann “Pee-Wee” Bobby

Funeral service for Dorothy Ann “Pee-Wee” Bobby, 83, of Mt. Pleasant, will be 11:00 A.M Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Greater Hope Church of God in Christ, Mt. Pleasant. Interment in Edwards Cemetery, under the direction of Tumey Mortuary, Mt. Pleasant. She died March 20, 2024.

She was born January 15, 1941 in Daingerfield, Texas to Leonard and Johnnie Mae (Bogan) Johnson.

She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School, Mt. Pleasant, Texas in 1955. She met and married James Howard Bobby and to this union five children were born; Teresa, John, Alvester, Michael and Christopher.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her husband James Howard Bobby, son Michael Bobby, two brothers Leonard Johnson Jr., Jott Garrett, three sisters Mary Craddock, Cynthia Everett, Claudia Polk.

She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter Teresa (Ron) King of Crowley, Texas; three sons John (Donna) Johnson, Christopher Johnson all of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Alvester (Yolanda) Bobby of DeSoto, Texas; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
