Louella Turner

Funeral Service for Louella Turner, 102, resident of Omaha, Texas will be Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 1:00PM at Greater Hope Church of God in Christ, Mt. Pleasant. Burial in Reynolds Cemetery Daingerfield under the direction of Tumey Mortuary, Mt. Pleasant. She died November 20, 2023.

Louella was born July 21, 1921 to Noah and Laura (Norman) Grant in Jefferson, Texas. At an early age, Louella became a member of the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. Louella loved fishing, sewing, quilting, gardening and taking care of everyone. She loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Turner, her sons Otis, L.A., Onzie, L.W., Willie James Arthur Morris; her daughters Shirley Traylor and Edith Osadolor; her siblings Frances Williams, Leona Weeks, Dick Thursby, Wilson Grant, John Grant, Charlie Grant, Richard Grant, Roosvelt Grant.

She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter Betty Turner of Omaha, Texas; her son Willie Ray Turner of Cedar Hill, Texas; 22 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
