Patsy Ann Embree

Patsy Ann Embree, 80, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2022 in Mount Pleasant, TX. She was born on June 10, 1941, in Cookville, TX to Seborn Jeffie Poole and Roma Mae (Gentry) Poole.

Patsy was a member of North Ridge Church of Christ. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, crossstitch, cooking, and playing cards with neighbors.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, William Currey Embree.

Left to cherish Patsy’s memory are her family: sons and daughters-in-law, Kennie (Robin) Embree of Omaha, TX and Rick (Patricia) Embree of Huffman, TX; grandchildren: Austin Embree and fiancée Sarah Buzzelli of Huffman, TX, Madison Embree Loftin (and spouse) of Tennessee; and Candice Embree Zello (and spouse) of Alexandria, Louisiana.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home Chapel with visitation being held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
