Roger Dale Kidwell, Sr.

Roger Dale Kidwell, Sr., 80, passed away on April 3, 2022 in Pittsburg, Texas. He was born on August 24, 1941 in Titus County, Texas to Robert Bob Kidwell and Evie Garretson Kidwell.

Roger is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Betty Kidwell; son, Roger Kidwell, Jr., & wife Aily; daughter, Debra Summerlin & husband Stephen; daughter, Donna Book & fiancé Joe Salmons; daughter, Rhonda McGown and fiancé Dax Scarnato; daughter, Tina Kidwell; 15 grandchildren: Jeff Summerlin & wife Kristin; Justin Summerlin; Sara Lusty & husband Kelby; Emily Summerlin; Ashley Harms & husband Tyler; Allyson, Chad & Chase Book; Courtney Cobia & husband Ricky; Caylee & Camden Kidwell; Grayson, Cole & Evan McGown; Liam Savage & Eden Scarnato; 7 great-grandkids: Iyanna, Levi, Brooklyn & Everly Summerlin; Darcy & Amelia Lusty; ex son-in-law Patrick McGown; ex daughter-in-law Julie Kidwell, numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert Lee, Nolice Kidwell, and George Kidwell; sisters, Billie Cason, Betty Moon, Elaine Coe, and Winnie Cochran.

A graveside service will be held at Greenhill Cemetery on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 10:30 A.M.
