Funeral Service for Uwanda Stribling, 64, Mt. Pleasant, will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 20, 2024 at St. Matthew House of Worship. Burial in Piney Cemetery under the direction of Tumey Mortuary. She died January 11, 2024.

She was born February 21, 1959 in Dallas, Texas to Lena B. (Hill) and Robert Allen. Wanda was a 1977 graduate ofJamesMadisonHighSchool. She was a member of True Gospel Ministry, Sulphur Springs where she served as church mother and prayer warrior. She loved garage sales and family gatherings.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Billy Ray Allen, sisters Mary Martin and Rena Jones.

Uwanda is survived by her husband Donnie Stribling; children Stacy Allen, Kamesha Allen (Dorian Kennedy), Donnie Childs (Tara Scott), Christopher Finney (Joyce Finney); 18 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; brothers Clearance Bryson (Wanda), Aurther Hill (Shirley); sister Karen Johnson; brother-in-law Hilario Martin; special sisters Cynthia Hines, Margaret Andrews; special daughter Quinsha Bailey; favorite cousin Tamara Minter, fur baby “Diamond”; bonus daughter Lillie Wyatt; daughters- in-law Susan Finney, Keshia Boyd and Lashounda Linwood; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
