Sylvia Anne Crooks, 70, of Longview, Texas ( formerly of Mount Pleasant, Texas) passed away in the early morning hours of December 14, 2023 in Longview, Texas. She was born on May 21, 1953 in Crockett, Texas to Leon Aldridge and Indianola ( Johnson) Aldridge. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at the Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home Chapel with visitation to begin at 10:00 a.m., one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Gladewater Cemetery.

Thomas (Tommy) David Brown passed away on October 14, 2023 at the age of 60. Tommy was born in Harrisburg, Arkansas on February 21, 1963. He graduated from Harrisburg High School and then attended the University of Arkansas where he met his wife Carolyn. They spent the rest of their 37 years of marriage supporting their beloved Razorbacks.
