We’re headed down the home stretch of another Texas deer season. While rutting activity is waning across much of the state, it’s just now about to get cranked up down south. Some of the year’s best hunting in the Brush Country and Mexico always happens around the Christmas rush. A glassy-eyed buck with girls on his mind will often throw caution to the wind.
